POSITION SUMMARY
Concilium Global Analysts contribute to the work of Concilium Insight, the open-source intelligence analysis
department of Concilium. Concilium Insight serves Christian missionary-sending organizations, humanitarian
organizations, and churches with warnings and explanations regarding terrorism, conflict, crime, and persecution
outside the United States. Concilium Insight also provides crime analysis and prevention products to U.S.
churches.
Global Analysts work to show how incidents and trends are shaping the mission field, helping organizational
leaders and expatriates plan for contingencies and deployments in ways that build resilience into their ministries.
Concilium Insight’s global subscription includes the following products:
· A weekly report, the Thursday Briefing, featuring short comments about multiple topics of interest and concern
around the world.
· Briefs, alerts, flash reports, and in-depth research papers concerning imminent or ongoing threat incidents or
trends, written in a bottom-line-up-front style that discusses the essential factors behind an issue, delivers a
concise outlook, and describes the implications for Christian ministries.
· Scheduled and spontaneous conference calls with analysts and other subscribers to discuss key issues.
· Custom consultation and research for eligible subscribers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• In fulfillment of assignments from the Vice President of Analysis:
• 1) Research open sources and/or seek non-classified/non-confidential information from ministry
and professional contacts aware of the global analyst’s Concilium affiliation (for guidance, see the
Code of Conduct for the Association of International Risk Intelligence Professionals [AIRIP])
• 2) Apply structured analytical methods to collected information in accordance with Concilium
Insight standard practices
• 3) Employ intelligence writing formats and styles to construct products for dissemination
• Present virtual/video briefings to subscribers and Concilium staff during online conference calls
• Present in-person briefings to subscribers and Concilium staff during occasional conferences (subject to
part-time/flex-time staff member availability)

SUPPORT RAISING
As a 501(c)3 religious non-profit whose clients are other 501(c)3 religious non-profits, Concilium derives much of
its income from private donations. Full-time staff are required to raise a significant percentage of their income
according to an established pay scale. Part-time staff may be paid hourly without the need to raise support as
funds are available in their department’s budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• MS in Intelligence Studies or a related degree, or equivalent work experience within discipline
• 2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role
• Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ

This position will require using a computer and sitting for long periods of time. The physical demands described
